Meet the financial planning services team
Our financial planning services team is well-qualified and broadly experienced to be able to deliver clients the high standard of wealth management services they seek. A key element of our preparedness for delivering client services, is the holding of relevant formal qualifications – and backing that up with continuous education in fields appropriate to the products and services we offer.

After 28 years as an accountant in public practice Eric commenced his work in the financial planning industry in October 2000. During his career, Eric has advised clients on a wide range of financial and general investment matters, whilst providing strategic business services to entrepreneurs and senior managers. Particular specialties that Eric brings to Continuum Financial Planners include the provision of advice/ solutions to:
- clients with complex financial needs and who are ‘time poor’;
- corporate/business superannuation situations;
- business succession and estate planning needs; and
- wealth creation/protection strategies.
Eric is a senior financial planner at Continuum Financial Planners Pty Ltd and heads a financial planning services team that provides a diverse range of strategic wealth management advice and services to his clients. As team-leader Eric sets the principles by which strategies for his clients are determined when statements of advice are being prepared whether in respect of investments or risk insurance recommendations.
As the senior Director of the company, Eric is also closely involved in the operational activities and processes of the company, takes a leadership role in relation to marketing and strategic policies and is active in the team’s monitoring of market activity of the various investment products utilised in the portfolios of clients of the company.

Warwick commenced his financial planning career in July 2005 when he transitioned from his role accounting role. In September 2008 Warwick became a shareholder and Director of Continuum Financial Planners Pty Ltd, having mastered the paraplanning role for the company up to that time: and advising a small portfolio of advised clients (whilst completing his CPA studies and then proceeding with formal studies in financial planning).
Warwick holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in accounting and commercial computing’ Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. He is a member of CPA Australia – and has been awarded Financial Planning Specialist designation by that professional body. He is also a Fellow member of FinSIA and an associate member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
Warwick’s professional interests lie in wealth accumulation strategies, investment product analysis, portfolio blending and in personal risk insurance – all of which he delivers efficiently and effectively to an ever-growing portfolio of clients. His advisory and management pursuits have made a mark on the industry and this has been recognised in his appointment to membership of Queensland Securitor Circle – since 2010.
As a working Director of the company Warwick is responsible for HR matters and financial management policy and decisions, contributing at Board level to the development and implementation of company strategic policy generally. His role ensures the efficient delivery of ContinuumFP’s financial planning services.

During his professional career he has gained extensive experience in all areas of financial planning services; and has built expertise in banking, wealth management, personal insurance, SMSF strategies, salary packaging, corporate super, succession and estate planning, and debt and gearing strategies.
Damien’s experience and expertise was accumulated in the following roles:
- Established and ran a successful Financial Planning firm (with legal firm and chartered accountants as partners);
- Wealth Management Relationship Manager for St George Private Bank;
- State Manager for an Estate and Succession Planning company; and
- Qld & PNG manager for the financial planning arm of one of the big four accounting firms.
Following his passion for working with his clients and delivering them exceptional, personalised service – and after extensive consultation and research into the culture and processes at Continuum – Damien joined Continuum Financial Planners under a joint venture agreement in March 2010.
Damien says that he is pleased and delighted with the relationship he sees established between Continuum’s advisors and their clients, going on to say “I look forward to delivering services to my loyal clients with full confidence that I will be able to deliver what I undertake on their behalf.”

She then moved to Australia in 2008 with her husband and son to experience the great lifestyle the sunshine state has to offer.
Soon after arrival in Queensland, Kathy commenced working for Continuum Financial Planners and worked closely with the advisers in developing some new processes and procedures that ensured client services could be delivered efficiently and in a timely way. She commenced her studies towards the Diploma of Financial Planning, showing a particular interest in managing the implementation processes for personal risk insurance. After an absence of a year (or thereabouts) working for one of the major Banks, Kathy re-joined ContinuumFP – and will continue her studies with the aim to complete the Diploma of Financial Planning as soon as family commitments allow.
